Since its release in 2011, Minecraft has amassed 140 million active players worldwide. The player is the main character who can be controlled in Minecraft. The two default player skins are known as Steve (a name suggested by Notch as a joke but later confirmed in the “change skin” menu on minecraft.net, in-game as the default name in Bedrock Edition, and his name in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate) and Alex, with all unchanged skins being split between the two default skins.

There are a lot of different skills that one can develop, practice, and master when it comes to playing Minecraft. These skills can range from anything between building impossible structures, Redstone, player-versus-player combat, parkour, and more. Josh (born: August 28, 2002 (2002-08-28) [age 18]), better known online as fruitberries (or simply Fruit) is a Canadian gaming YouTuber known for playing the video game Minecraft. Fruitberries asserted himself as a household name in the Minecraft community with his exceptional performance in the 11th Minecraft Championship. He ranked as the second overall player, and came in the top 5 across a majority of the categories, including in first place at “To Get To The Other Side”.

Most of fruitberries’ videos revolve around trapping in UHC or Skywars. He builds a trap to quickly kill another player, who usually is stacked, and uses all their items to win the game.

CaptainSparklez is famous for his Minecraft parodies where he changes the lyrics of a popular song to fit into the world of Minecraft. Brandon “PeteZahHutt” Clemont is an American Minecraft YouTuber who has been around since his channel was created in April, 2012.

He’s incredibly skilled when it comes to the Minecraft Championships. He’s one of two competitors who has never left their spot on the top ten individual leaderboard, and the only competitor to never leave the top five individual leaderboard.

He is one of the original 40 competitors in MCC 1. He is well known as one of the strongest and most consistent players in the tournament, never placing outside the top 5 individually in the 13 tournaments he has competed. He also currently holds the individual record for most podium appearances with 7. He was on the winning team of MCC 3, MCC 7, and MCC 10.

Technoblade is a player in MC Championship. He is well known for his Hypixel content and his involvement in the Dream SMP. He’s renowned for his player-versus-player combat skills, and his knowledge of the game mechanics and how to use them to his advantage.

Technoblade has had some respectable accomplishments over the years. He’s beaten Minecraft Hardcore Mode utilizing a steering wheel as a controller. He holds some impassable Bedwars winning streaks, which includes his position as the first competitor to hold a 1,000 win streak on Hypixel.

Jimmy Donaldson (born May 7, 1998), better known online as MrBeast, is an American YouTuber, businessman, and philanthropist. He has been credited with pioneering a genre of YouTubevideos that center on expensive stunts. He is also the founder of MrBeast Burger and the co-creator of Team Trees, a fundraiser for the Arbor Day Foundation, which has raised over $23 million. He is managed by the Dallas-based talent management company Night Media.

Nicholas “Nick” (born: March 1, 2001 [age 20]), better known online as Sapnap, is an American YouTuber known for his Minecraft challenge videos and collaborations with Dream.

His videos typically star him and his group of fellow YouTuber friends performing a set of Minecraft challenges together. Some of his most notable challenge videos include “Minecraft But It’s Raining Cats and Dogs”, “Minecraft, But Mobs Are Randomly Hostile”, and “Minecraft Manhunt”.

9. George

George Davidson (born: November 1, 1996 [age 24]), better known online as GeorgeNotFound, is an English YouTuber known for creating Minecraft videos. He frequently collaborates with fellow Minecraft YouTubers Sapnap, BadBoyHalo, and Dream, and is part of the Minecraft Dream SMP server along with other streamers and YouTubers.

George’s first public video was uploaded on October 25, 2019 titled “Minecraft Endermen Destruction (Timelapse)”. Many of his videos are Minecraft challenge videos, typically following the title format “Minecraft, but…” or “Minecraft Hunter VS Speedrunner”, in the latter of which he usually collaborates with Dream.

10. Mumbo Jumbo

MumboJumbo, known as Mumbo for short, is a YouTuber and active member of the Hermitcraft server, known for his redstone videos. He joined at the start of Season 2. As of 29 June 2021, he has 7,530,000 subscribers and is the most subscribed of the Hermits. He is one of the nine Hermits who have over a million subscribers on YouTube, and is one of the only two Hermits with over 6 million subscribers along with Grian.

11. Notch

Markus Alexej Persson, more commonly known under the alias Notch, is the creator of Minecraft and one of the founders of Mojang Studios.

BadBoyHalo was a notable admin on McPVP while it was still around, and MunchyMC opened around the time when McPVP merged to Brawl. While the domain still lives (mcpvp.com) some of their subdomains redirect you to certain game modes on the new replacement of McPVP which is now Brawl.
